Mr. Billy U. Glass, age 88, of Leesburg, formerly of Blakely passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside Service will held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Blakely Cemetery, Rev. David Crowdis and Rev. Lyle Brackin officiating.Serving as pallbearers will be Ed Gilbert, Lee Chapman, Ronnie Ashley, Johnny Allen, Wayne Parker and Olin Thompson.Members of the Bradley Bridges Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Billy was the Owner and Operator of Glass Service Center in Blakely for many years.He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the First Baptist Church of Blakely and the Magnolia Masonic Lodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Glass and Ellene Driver Glass; brothers, Earl Glass, Joe Glass and great grandson, Branson Powers.Billy is survived by his loving wife, Martha Ann Glass; daughter, Denise (Clyde) Johnson; sisters, Marjorie Hicks, Mary Ann (Larry) Beasley; brothers, Ray (Vivian) Glass, Eddie Glass; grandsons, DentonPowers, Colby (Meagan) Johnson and great grandson, Miles "Little Man" Johnson.
