Billy Wayne Adams

December 31, 1953 — July 18, 2020

Billy Wayne Adams, 66, of Albany, Ga. passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Worth County, Ga. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.The accident also took the life of his wife, Barbara Ann Allen Adams.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.

Billy was born December 31, 1953 in Midland City, AL. to the late Wayne Earl and Nellie Ruth Pippins Adams.He worked as a carpenter throughout his career and was a faithful member of Westover Community Church.Billy enjoyed sports, especially watching Alabama football and playing softball.

Survivors include his three daughters, Christina Lee Glover of Midland City, Billie Lauminick (Wesley) of Cowarts, AL., and Jessica Chance of Midland City; a son, Robert Adams of Albany; his step-son, Joe High (Mary) of Albany; four bonus children, Ronnie Lynn, Penny Nowell, Quinton Johnson, and Quin Wheeler; his sister, Pauline Grace Hall (Clyde) of Slocomb, AL.; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Earl Adams, Sr.
