Billie Ann Hubbard Bruner, 88, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, right before midnight. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, October 29, 2019, at 11 AM in the Bluffton Baptist Church with Revs. Michael Williams and Jackie Williams officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 10 AM Tuesday morning in the church sanctuary and lasting until funeral time at 11. Burial will follow in the Bluffton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Hubbard, Jack Durham, Mark Hubbard, Al Hubbard, Allen Veatch, Ed Chance, Danny Williams, Wally Hubbard, Tommy Knight, Dan Williams, Will Bruner, Patrick Everson, Doug Everson and Danny Everson.

Billie Ann was born in Bluffton, GA on January 3, 1931 to the late Bill Monroe Hubbard and the late Hortense Meadows Hubbard. She was a member of the Bluffton Baptist Church, a homemaker, and had retired as Librarian from the Clay County Library after 20 plus years of service. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Bruner, Sr. and by two sisters: Shirley Hubbard Chance and Helen Hubbard Veatch.

Her survivors include 4 sons: Cal Bruner and his wife Karen, Bill Bruner, Daniel Bruner, all from Bluffton, GA and Matt Bruner and his wife Leigh of Edison, GA, one brother, Albert Hubbard and his wife Gloria of Bluffton, GA. She has 5 grandchildren: Caleb Bruner of Morgan, GA, Cole, Taylor and Abby Bruner, all of Edison, GA and Dakota Bruner of Bluffton, GA., and there is one great grandchild, Gracie Bruner of Carnegie, Ga.
