Betty Clarene Hudson, 73,of68 Odom Lane, Blakely, GA passed away this afternoon, February 12, 2019, at the Southeast Health Hospital, Dothan, AL.Her funeral will be Friday, February 15, 2019, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Garrett officiating.The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 am until 11:45 am at the funeral home.Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Cedar Springs, GA.Pallbearers will be Eddie Snell, Guy Lonsdale, Ricky Hewitt, Merv Barnes, and George Wilson.

Mrs. Hudson was born in Amarillo, TX on February 14, 1945 to the late Grady Murley and Nellie Ross Murley. Betty was of the baptist faith and she was a retired store manager.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Murley.

Her survivors include her husband, George Bernard Hudson; two daughters, Cynthia Snell and Eddie. and Bobbie Lonsdale and Guy all of Lake Seminole, GA; one son, Wayne Cherry of Cedar Springs, GA.She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
