Betty Sue Brackin,79, passed away at the Thomasville Health and Rehab Center on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.A graveside service with Preacher Jack Cowart officiating will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Arlington, GA on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2 p.m.

Betty was born in Carnegie, GA on July 27, 1942 to the late Jessie Hammock, Sr. and Odell Harrison Hammock .She was of the Baptist faith and she was a Peanut Inspector for Arliington Peanut Company.She loved working in her yard, and fishing with her husband.Her favoritething to do was work at spoiling the grandchildren and great-grandchilden.Spending time with her family was what she loved most. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Willie Brackin, three btothers; James, Charlie and Jessie Hammock, two sisters; Ruth Murphy and Annie Maude Sowell.

Her survivors are one daughter, Bonnie Sue (Reid) Tucker, one granddaughter, Amanda Sue Turner and two great-grandsons; Skyler Reid Chastain and Timothy James Joiner all of Cairo, GA
