Betty Ann Braithwaite Ashley, 82, 163 Fains Hatchery Road, Edison, GA, passed away today, October 3, 2018, at her residence.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Vincent United Methodist Church, Bluffton Road, Bluffton, GA with Rev. Jackie Williams and Rev. Buddy Coss officiating.

Betty was born on March 4, 1936 in Winchester, VA to the late Richard and Mabel Braithwaite.She was a supervisor at Editex Sewing Factory in Edison for many years and a member of the Vincent United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Ashley Blalock; two sons, Jeffery Alton Ashley and William Bradley Ashley, two brothers; Leonard and Doug Braithwaite and a granddaughter, Jessica Ashley.

Her survivors include her husband, Roy A. Ashley of Edison, GA; a daughter, Martha Ashley and a son, Mike Ashley both of Edison, GA; a sister, Pat Eubanks of Edison, GA; and a brother, Donald Braithwaite had his wife Sumiko of CA.There are 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
