Bennie Arlen Eubanks passed away at his home on November 25, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Edison Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Gaines and Dr. Gary Hadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Edison, GA with Chase Peel, Lance Eubanks, Steven Eubanks, Joel Eubanks, Brent Alderman, James Alderman, Dr. Troy Alderman, and Dr. Cary Alderman, serving as Active Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Men of Edison Baptist Church, members of the Ike Newberry Sunday School Class of Arlington Baptist Church, Deacons of Arlington Baptist Church, and Deacons of Edison Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
Mr. Eubanks was born in Bluffton, GA on September 22, 1936 to the late Alex Joel Eubanks and Essie Jones Eubanks. He loved to cook and loved his cattle ranch. He was a very civic-minded person. He also loved people and his family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tim Eubanks, and three brothers Calvin, Murry, and Ronnie Eubanks.
His survivors include Peggy, his wife of 64 years, a granddaughter, Taylor Jacobs (Lee), and great-grandsons Rylee and Bankston. He is also survived by sisters Ann Nix and Jane Settles (Bob); sisters-in-law Pat Eubanks, Betty Eubanks, and Jan Eubanks; and a number of nieces and nephews.
