Mark Barry Brooks, 57, passed away peacefully at his home in Edison, GA., June 23, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Due to covid restrictions, a private Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Salem Baptist Church in Edison with Pastor Daniel McFather officiating.

Barry was born Feb. 11, 1964, to the late Wendell T. Brooks and Carol Brooks.He graduated from Early County High School and worked in parts sales most of his life.He was a member of Westview Methodist Church and attended Salem Baptist Church after moving to Edison.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell T. Brooks; grandparents, Thurman and Bessie Brooks, and Ed and Mae Zuelke.

Survivors include his wife, RoyNelle Durham Brooks; his daughter, Breanna Elaine Brooks; his mother, Carol Brooks; his sister, Brenda Cooley and Randi and their two children; four step-children, Eddie Thorne and Brittany and 14 children, Sara Thorne and Jim and seven children, Fred Montgomery and Mara and four children, Hannah Rae Montgomery and seven great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Manry Jordan Hoges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
