Barbara Anne Moody

Barbara Anne Moody, 85, of Blakely, Ga. passed away July 29, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Guffey officiating. Barbara Anne was born August 7, 1938, in Tallahassee, Fl. to the late Melvin and Frances Anderson Thomas. She was married to the late Ralph Darden Moody. Barbara Anne was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara Anne was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Jo Thomas. She is survived by a son, Thomas Moody (April), grandson, Clay Moody (Timber), granddaughter, Angela Moody Chester (Patrick), and 2 great-grandchildren, all of Little Rock, AR. Barbara Anne is also survived by a brother, James Thomas of Tallahassee, Fl. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
