Mr. Day was born on April 4, 1932 in Hamilton County, Fl. to the late Arlin Day, Sr. and Arrie Register Day. He was retired as a Construction Company Mechanic. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Blakely. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Belinda Faye Day and a son, Randy Day, a daughter, Cathy June Dayand by a sister, Burdell Avery.
His survivors include 3 daughters: Ann Saye and Stan of Lynn Haven, FL, Jan Handshoe and Dennis of Wayland, KY and Linda Michelle Parr and James of Kinsey, AL. There are 3 sons: Robert Allen Day and Celena of Auburn, Al, Christopher Michael Day and Teresa of Yuma, Arizona and Shannon Lee Day of Dothan, Al. He has a sister, Ruth Glass of Blakely, Ga and 2 brothers, Billy Day and Nell of Blakely and Jimmy Day and Elaine of Eufaula, AL. 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren also survive.
