Annie Maude Preston

Annie Maude Preston, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her residence in Loganville, Ga. Visitation will Monday, January 2, 2017, from 10-11 a.m. at the Arlington Baptist Church immediately following will be the funeral serviceat 11 a.m. with Dr. Gary Hadden officiating.Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Jerry Sasnett, Billy Davis, Mickey White, Jimmy White, Robert White and R. L. Moore serving as pallbearers.

Annie was born on January 25, 1931, to the late Arthur White, Sr. and Maude Dykes White. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and was a former owner of a personal care home in Albany, Ga.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Belle Cook, Pearl Monfort, Myreece Moore and three brothers; Arthur (Boy) White, Jr., Thurman Lee (Sang) White, Sr. and Irvin (Pete) White.

Her survivors include two daughters; Faye Stewart of Loganville, Ga., Shelia May and Thomas of Winder, Ga.and one son, Claude Preston, Jr. and Velma of Leesburg, Ga.
She also has six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. There are four brothers: Herbert White, Pasadena, Texas, John Henry White and Bobbie of Shellman, Ga., Ed White and Carolyn of Tifton, Ga. and Bill White of Albany, Ga.
