Thelma Annette Roberts Sprouse, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 in the Courtyard Nursing Home in Pasadena, Texas.A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Blakely Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Dr. Michael Warren officiating.Family and friends can visit the funeral home up until 8 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017.

Mrs. Sprouse was born on Oct. 30, 1930 in Early County, Ga.to the late James Clarence Roberts and Martha Dell McKinnon Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Clay County, GA. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Calhoun Sprouse, Jr. and a daughter, Martha Ann Sprouse.

Her survivors include a daughter, Sue Ahmad of Spring, Texas and a son, Mark C. Sprouse, III of Pearland, Texas, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
