Angie Doswell

Martha Angelyn "Angie" Doswell, 78, of Blakely,passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Early Memorial Nursing Home.

Angie was born May 13, 1941 in Devereux, Georgia, to the late Herschel Alonza and Belle Johnson Foster.After retiringfrom the USDA, where she was a laboratory technician, she began her second career as the "Worlds Best Grandmother".Angie was also a beloved mother and always enjoyed spending time with her family.She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla Doswell Hardin (Daniel) and their children, Hunter & Harper, of Dothan, AL.; a sister, Beverly Short of Milledgeville, GA.; and numerous cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Floyd Tedder, Jr. and Elmer Fleming Doswell; a sister, Patricia Smith and husband Billy; and a brother-in-law, Bill Short.

Due to current restrictions, the family will be having a private graveside service at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
