Andy Oliver, 62, of Blakely, GA passed away this morning, May 7, 2019 at his residence.His funeral will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11 a.mat the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating.Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery with D. J. Sampley, Tommy Owens, Marcus Milner, Michael Merritt, Charlie Harris, Dallas Hughes and Andrew Hughes serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends for visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home on Thursday evening, May 9, 2019 from 7 until 9 p.m.The family will also receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church beginning at 10 a.m. until time for the funeral.

Andy was born in Blakely, GA on July 22, 1956 to the late Jessie Lee Oliver and Vaudine Nobles Oliver Smith.He attended the First Assembly of God Church and was former owner of Tri-County Jewelry and Pawn Shop, Bargain House and Auction Barn, also former Life Insurance Agent with Life of GA and was a Fireman with the Blakely Fire Department.He was also in the U S Army during peacetime.

His survivors include his wife, Phyllis Duncan Oliver of Blakely, 3 daughters; Michelle Oliver of Blakely, Michelle Harris of Luverne, AL, Angel Hughes and Will of Colquitt, GA, 2 sons; D. J. Sampley and Brittany of Blakely and Tommy Owens and Sara of Edison, GA; 3 sisters; Cathy Milner and Hank of Cuthbert, GA, Cindy Oliver, Blakely, GA and Joy Conrad of Cuthbert, GA.He is survived by 13 grandchildren; Christian, Charlie, Brittany, Dallas, Andrew, Haley, Jesse, Monica, De'Shon, Temperance, Payton, Tristan and Tabitha and 3 Great-grandchildren; Layah, Averie and Thomas.
