Andy Bush, 62,of 146 Lee Street, Blakely, GA, passed away at his residence on October 6, 2017.His funeral will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 3 p.m. at The First United Methodist Church, Blakely, GA with Dr. Alex Howell and Rev. Scott Brenton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m.Burial will at the Blakely Cemetery with Tommy Freeman, Ben Freeman, David McMinn, Ted Deiter, Larry Blackburn and Earl Boozer serving as pallbearers.

Andy was born July 12, 1955 to the late Homer Bush and Margaret Sanders Bush.He was a Commodity Inspector for the Fed/State Inspection Service, a graduate of University Georgia where he played baseball as a catcher for 4 years and a member of UGA Booster Club.He was a member of The First United Methodist Church, Blakely, GA.

His survivors include one daughter, Renee Simpson of Blakely; three sons, Brandon Bush of Japan, Brad Bush of Columbus, GA and Andy Bush of Moultrie, GA.He is also survived by two sisters, Rhonda Freeman, Columbia, AL and Robin Ezell and husband Mike of Webb, AL, one brother Cliff Bush and wife Mary Edith of Blakely, GA. He has three grandchildren.
