Amy Tabb Smith

February 5, 1970 — April 12, 2020

Amy Tabb Smith, 50, passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 12, 2020, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Due to current restrictions, the family is having a private service. Interment will be at Blakely Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First United Methodist Church of Blakely, "Kingdom Kids", 397 College St., Blakely, GA39823.

Amy was born February 5, 1970 in Albany, GAto Michael Byron Tabb, Sr. and Karin S. Tabb.She was a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and a member of First United Methodist Church where she loved spending time with the children while serving as the Children's Director.Whether it was fishing , playing golf, or camping, she enjoyed the outdoors but would go shopping if Maggie begged her.She loved her family and her selflessness and kindness will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Trey Smith; daughters, Maggie Laine Smith and Natalie Gail Smith, both of Blakely, GA; her mother, Karin S. Tabb of Leary, GA; a brother, Robert Andrew "Robbie" Tabb (Angel) of Leary, GA; a sister-in-law, Sian Lott (John); nephews, Andrew Tabb, Austin Lott, and Justin Lott; and a host of pets and friends.

Amy was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Michael Byron Tabb, Jr.
