Alvin Benjamin Causey
October 15, 1933 — April 29, 2017
Mr. Causey was born in Blakely, GA on October 15, 1933 to the late Loftin Whit Causey and Mamie Gaffney Causey.He retired as a Master Sargent from the US Army after 23 years of service having served in Korea and Vietnam.He also retired as a department head for the US Justice Department.He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 8083 out of Bellview, FL.
His survivors will be a son, Wayne P. Causey (Selena) of Loganville, GA, one daughter; Marie Braden (Randy) of Turner Station, KY, one brother; Jack Causey (Kathy) of Conyers, GA, one sister, Helen Stephens of Conyers GA, a sister-in-law, Bregetta Causey of Fredricksburg, VA, four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
