Alfred Cleveland, Jr. 77, of 657 Taylor Harris Road, Blakely, GA passed away this morning, May 21, 2019, at Southeast Health Medical Center, Dothan, AL.A Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10 a.m.in the Blakely Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating.The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 7 - 9 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.

Junior was born in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Alfred Bruton Cleveland, Sr and Mary Bonner Cleveland Aycock of Colquitt, GA.He was of the Baptist faith and had worked many years as a mechanic for Martin and Son Chevrolet Company, Hattaway Motor Company and Stan's Auto and Truck Sales. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Mildred C. Frantz and Betty C. Varnum and a brother, Bruton Cleveland.

Other than his mother, his survivors include his wife, Emily Ann Pittman Cleveland of Blakely, GA, three sons; Brad Cleveland and Shawn of Damascus, GA, Ricky Cleveland of Blakely, GA and Jeff Cleveland and Angie of Blakely, GA. He is also survived by two sisters, Jean C. Dunn of Americus, GA and Brenda Downing of Colquitt, GA, a Brother-in-law, Wayne Varnum of Dothan, AL, seven grandchildren; Whitney Fulford and Brandon of Leesburg, GA, Hunter Cleveland of Macon, GA, Rayce Cleveland of Damascus, GA, Jesse Cleveland, Gage Cleveland and Tucker Cleveland all of Blakely, GA and Stephanie Williams and Austin of Rockmart, GA and one great-grandson Maddox Williams of Rockmart, GA.
